EMEC was appointed to provide building and sustainability consultancy services as part of a new £25 million leisure centre complex with ice rink, swimming pool and fitness suite in Western Road, Romford.
Featuring CHP system for generating heat for the pool and contributing towards electricity to power the ice rink’s chillers, the development also benefits from 200m2 photovoltaics.
