Chris brings extensive business and industry expertise to the company having previously partnered with contractors and consulting engineers across a diverse range of industry sectors. Skilled in high profile education, commercial CAT A and CAT B, data centres, residential and industrial projects, Chris also has unmatchable experience of working on healthcare and mental health projects.
A qualified CIBSE Low Carbon Consultant and Thermal Modelling and Computational Fluid Dynamics expert, he is committed to fully assessing each project from concept to implementation, ensuring the
optimum solution is always achieved.
With 22 years experience of partnering with consulting engineers and contractors on mechanical and electrical projects from concept through detailed design to full project management, Robin also boasts a wealth of expertise in system commissioning and maintenance.
In addition to blue chip projects within the defence, telecommunications and automotive industries, Robin has been responsible for the design and implementation of schemes at Willowbrook Urgent Care Centre, Corby; Glenfield Hospital (Cardio Vascular Research Centre), Leicester; St John’s Residential Care Home, Northampton; Siemens Plessey Controls, Poole.
Principle Electrical Engineer
Jon has 27 years electrical project experience, from early concept to on site construction, gained whilst working within both consulting and contracting environments on commercial, mixed use developments, education, leisure and rail industry projects.
Today responsible for leading EMEC’s electrical department as well as ensuring key objectives and targets are met, prior to joining the company, Jon worked for a number of large corporate organisations where he was at the forefront of a wide variety of electrical projects.
Senior Mechanical Engineer
With over 15 years experience in working on healthcare, local government, education office and retail projects, Daniel is responsible for preparing feasibility designs and tender documents, and supervising works on site.
Proficient in a variety of software design packages including Heavomp and Autocad, prior to joining emec, Daniel worked as principal consultant on a variety of high profile projects including Broomfield Hospital (PFI), Norwich Research Park (Centrum) and several Sainsbury stores.
Senior Energy & Sustainability Engineer
Zubair is an award winning mechanical engineer with over eight years Building Services experience. A sustainability and thermal modelling, Daylight and CFD modelling specialist, Zubair has worked on local government, education, healthcare, office and retail projects.
A qualified CIBSE Chartered Engineer and Low Carbon Consultant, Zubair expert knowledge of engineering sciences and particular interest in energy conservation, production, renewable sources and sustainability within the built environment, from concept and design, through to feasibility and construction.
Senior Electrical Engineer
As Senior Electrical Engineer, Jose plays a key role in calculating and developing power supply and energy distribution requirements for Emec’s growing portfolio of high profile, UK-wide electrical infrastructure projects.
An experienced project manager, his career includes electrical design and implementation for retail, healthcare, aviation and oil & gas schemes across Europe, as well as high voltage transformers for power substations in California.
Oliver Iglesias Cumpian
Junior Electrical Engineer
Oliver started his career working as Inspector for the Industry Compartment in Spain, where he was responsible for overseeing and checking electrical installations across a diverse range of industrial and building installation projects.
In addition to his supervisory experience, Oliver specialises in the design of high and low voltage lighting schemes.
Junior Electrical Engineer
A member of emec’s electrical design team, prior to joining the company, Anastasios worked with some of today’s high profile commercial and residential building contractors in Greece, responsible for the design and supervision of electrical and mechanical works.
An experienced residential Energy Performance Assessor with an MSc in Electrical Engineering, many of Anastasios’ EPCs have produced recommendations for significant energy efficient improvements for clients.
Office & Quality Assurance Manager
With over 20 years experience in organising and managing staff teams, Caroline brings with her a wealth of project co-ordination, client relationship management, office managerial and administrative expertise gained whilst working within the Aviation and Design industries.
In addition to organising Emec’s rapidly growing office and team numbers, her responsibilities include implementation of new systems and procedures for the business, financial and document control including timesheets and expenses.
Sam joined EMEC as BIM Co-ordinator, having originally trained as a 3D Surface Modeller and Design Engineer for the automotive industry. Transferring his skills to the Building Services industry, and today highly proficient in Autodesk Revit and Bentley Microstation, Sam is responsible for co-ordinating M&E models and creating detailed Revit families.
Prior to joining EMEC he worked on a number of large office and residential projects for high profile clients including Land Securities, as well a World Cup football stadium.
Skilled in AutoCAD training and supervision, 3D Walkthroughs as well as managing complex IT infrastructures, Scott’s high profile industry experience includes projects for the Ministry of Defence, Dunn and Bradstreet and Selfridges, Birmingham.
Today working closely with emec’s engineering team, Scott is primarily responsible for co-ordinating REVIT-designed M+E projects, updating and maintaining the firm’s fast growing equipment library.
Alan brings to emec more than 20 years drafting, CAD and Revit MEP expertise gained whilst working within the building services, structured cabling and offshore oil & gas industries.
His experience spans numerous prestigious projects including Ministry of Defence HQ, Deutsche Bank in London, O2 Arena and the new Hong Kong airport at Chek Lap Kok. More recently Alan spent six years in Dubai where he managed a CAD design team responsible for producing drawings for the repair of oil platforms, and refurbishment and conversion of ships.
A fully qualified AutoCAD technician, Christine works alongside the design team and is responsible for the production and modification of electrical and mechanical design drawings across the entire emec client base.
Having previously spent 10 years as CAD Manager on a variety of high profile industrial and public sector contracts, Christine has a wealth of experience in running busy CAD departments, liaising with architects, consultants and clients as well as running CAD training courses for junior engineers and other CAD team members.
Ryan joins EMEC as an apprentice engineer, training in mechanical and electrical engineering and thermal modelling.
He is currently studying for his Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering at Bedford College.
With 20 years combined experience in document control and client liaison gained whilst working within the aviation and property industries, Gemma is responsible for organising drawings and documents and for administering EMEC’s document management system.
